Stuart Cozzens is a new addition to North Way's team of Emerging Leaders where he will be serving alongside me at the Wexford campus in the Worship Café, Ironmen Ministry and Young Adult Assimilation. His passion is to help people successfully navigate change, to walk alongside new Christians as they grow, and to champion healthy, Christ honoring marriages.Stu holds a BA in Business Management from Hope College (Holland, MI), and a Master¹s degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Boston, MA). While pursuing these studies, he has served congregations in Michigan (Resurrection Life Church) and in New Hampshire (Faith Bible Church) in the areas of student ministry, discipleship, leadership development, and teaching.
Born and raised in Traverse City (MI), Stu inherited a love of all things outdoors fishing, hunting, and football. When he's not at one of the North Way campuses, he's most likely doing something outside, reading, exercising, or cooking international cuisine with his wife, Jessica whom he met at a summer church-planting course while in seminary. Jessica is using her unique degrees and experience in the publishing world as a freelance writer and editor. They married in December of 2010, and are excited to be a part of God's movements in the greater Pittsburgh area.
