Today I'm taking my 3 daughters to a family camp where I grew up. As far as I know, the Chevalier family has been going to this camp since my late Grandma Blanche Chevalier went there as a teenager. This year, the camp is 191 years old. It will be great to share this day with my daughters at Hollow Rock.
Tomorrow, I have the opportunity to preach on James 4:13-5:6. This summer series on James has been so hard yet good for the soul. I'm excited to preach, but this is going to be another message that requires the famous Scott Stevens' "helmet".
