Last night, I was watching the last session of "Conversations with Fathers of the Faith" with my small group. Henry Blackaby said something that I can't stop thinking about. He said, "I've always said evangelism is a by product of discipleship. But we (the church) have made discipleship a by product of evangelism." (italics mine) I've been chewing on that idea for over 15 years since I knew God was calling me to ministry.
I'm really excited to hear Henry Blackaby, John Perkins and Dave Buehring when they come to Pittsburgh (April 29 & 30) with the Conversations with Fathers of the Faith tour.
