I've been spending this first morning of 2010 thinking and praying about the year 2020. I've come up with 6 simple statements that I want to define me in this decade. Each of these simple statements will involve a lot of focus and balance on my part. Under each of these, I have set some goals and defined how I will set out to accomplish these statements.
1. I want to be a great follower of Christ.
2. I want to be a great husband to Erica.
3. I want to be a great daddy to Madalyn, Kalea and Ainsley.
4. I want to be a great pastor.
5. I want to be a great son and brother.
6. I want to be a great friend.
I've blogged about "balance" before (HERE and HERE), and I know that I will need God's help to balance life and be defined by these 6 statements in 2020.
