My Deliverer

Today my friend (Doug Melder) kicked us off to a great start for our 10-week summer study in the book of James. We had fun with the iPhone theme of "we have an app for that." Today our app was perseverance. We created this moment after the sermon where people could text to us what they needed to be delivered from and need help from God to perservere through. It was an intense moment...so much so that I could not look at the scrolling text messages on the screen for fear of "losing it" in the middle of singing. My prayer is that our church leans in to this whole series as much as they leaned into this texting moment today. What a great service today!!!
