speed of your soul

I just heard a devotional on pace of the soul. My pastor talked about how we can get so busy serving others, pulling together services and the like. This was an important reminder as we are in the season of Lent. I confess that the speed of my soul has been way over the healthy "speed limit" as of late, but cutting out television and reading more scripture and other books has slowed down my soul. It has been good to converse again with God...the lover of my soul.
