defining moments...

Have you ever had a moment where you just knew it was orchestrated by God? Yesterday was one of those moments for me. I had the honor of baptizing 5 people. I've been walking the journey with 2 of them for only a few weeks. I've been walking with another 2 for 6 months or so. One of them, I've been walking with for a little over a year now. It is amazing what God can do in only a short year of our lives. As I was baptizing each of them, I found myself getting choked up at what this means for them. This was an incredible step in their faith journey, and I was humbled to be a part of it. Yesterday for them was a defining moment, and I hope I never lose sight of that with the longer I journey with people at North Way. I will fight for the meaning of defining moments, and I pray they never become routine or "this is my job" for me.
