Today I was distracted as I led our community in worship. I'm not exactly sure why, but I have a few ideas.
1. we had 3 male vocalists. our voices compromised each other's voices. Not that it was bad, but 3 male vocalists not singing 3-part harmony.
2. my expectations for attendance were not met. This should not matter to me, but today I let it creep in b/c I was expecting a big surge from our community "mailing" and door hanger blitz.
3. there were a few people in the room that I was "aware" of. Again, this shouldn't matter, but I let it slip in there today.
All in all, we had a great worship gathering today, but I felt like I wasn't fully there!
