shocked, but why?

This past weekend, I was literally shocked at the response to an invitation I gave for people to receive God's forgiveness. As I asked people to raise their hands if they wanted to receive God's forgiveness by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior, so many hands went into the air that I literally said out loud, "Oh my goodness, I'm not going to be able to agree with all of you, but God sees your hand!" I probably shouldn't have said this on the mic, but I was taken back by how many hands I saw in the air. God did something truly special this past weekend, and He's been moving in our church through this "Fearless" series. I'm pumped to hear my friend, Doug Melder, preach this weekend on the "Fear that God is Not Real."
