2010, here we come...

As we're coming to the start of a new decade, I've put out a challenge to some friends and my couple's small group to think about writing a "decade letter" for the different areas of our lives:

1. for your kid(s)
2. with your spouse - goals
3. for yourself - vision, goals and mission

For your kid(s), the idea is to write a letter that your kid will open ten years from now. What would you want them to know at that age? What do you want to pass along to them (legacy type stuff)?

With your spouse, the idea is to write a list of goals that you'd like to reach within your marriage in the next ten years. It could relate to your relationship, travel, fun factor, etc.

For yourself, the idea is to set a 2020 vision and list of goals that you'd like to accomplish. This could be relational, career, family, etc.
