Good Friday reflection

Last night was an incredible night. Worship in song with just a piano and viola. Communion and its connection to Passover. Participating in people's public confession of faith in adult baptism. Studying the crucifixion of Jesus...specifically Matthew's account (27:45-53). It was astounding to see the response as people wrote their sins on a sheet of paper and pinned their sin to the cross. I felt that people took it very seriously as the reflected that it was their sin that held Jesus there on the cross! What a great night, and I look forward to Sunday morning as we celebrate Easter! WOOT!
